We offer FREE tractor rides out into the orchard for apple and pumpkin picking on weekends during the season.

Kids and grown-ups love it!

Drinks!

We have fresh pressed cider and old-fashioned root beer to keep our pickers refreshed.

Retail Sales!

If you prefer, you can always just swing in and purchase your favorite apples and drinks at our retail stand. For apples, we have half peck (5 pounds) bags of McIntosh, Cortland and Empire.

Puppy Parameters!

We allow well behaved dogs into the orchard but we are very strict about a few rules:

1. Your pet must be leashed at ALL times.

2. You must bring what you need to clean up after your dog and dispose of the container properly.

We will ask you to show us your dog's waste bag when you enter the orchard - this is your dog's admission

ticket!

Please don't be the one to ruin a good thing for everyone--

you must be diligent and take care to clean up after and dispose of your dog's messes.

3. We reserve the right to ask you (and your pet) to leave if we determine that s/he is unruly

or simply frightening to other pickers.

We appreciate that your dog is part of your family and you want to bring him/her along. We all ask that you please adhere to these few rules so that we can all continue to enjoy bringing our "best friend" along!

As always, there is no admission fee and parking is free.

All you need is the desire to enjoy an old time New England tradition.

We do request that each person entering the orchard purchase at least

one half peck bag (or one peck for two people).

Feel free to bring along a picnic - we have some picnic tables available on a first come, first served basis.

Tables not for you? Bring your favorite blanket and find your own special spot to enjoy the early fall foliage.

Our orchard contains the following varieties:

  • McIntosh Apples: The quintessential New England Apple. It has a tender, white flesh, sweet with a slight tang, and very juicy. Best for eating and apple sauce because it cooks down quickly. Available thoughout the fall season.
  • Cortland Apples: The cortland apple is an all purpose juicy apple with wite flesh and a bit of tartness. It is an exellent apple for eating, pies and baking. Also terrific for salads and freezing becuase they do not turn brown quickly when cut. Cortand apples are available throughout the fall season.
  • Macoun Apples: The macoun apple is a very crisp, moist apple with a white flesh. The flavor is sweet and is our most popular eating apple. Also excellent in salads, pies, and sauce. Best if picked in late September-October. The macoun apple is a mix between McIntosh and Jersey Black varieties.
  • Empire Apples: With the popular Red Delicious and McIntosh for parents, Empire apples were destined to be a hit. It's a sweet-tart combination that's great for everything. Best if picked in late September-October.
  • Ozark Gold Apples: This is a very attractive, blushed yellow apple. It is a medium to large fruit that is mild and juicy with some tartness.
  • Golden (Yellow) Delicious: This is a honey sweet apple that has a mild flavor. Very juicy, crisp and light yellow flesh. It is excellent for eating and is great for pies, baking, and freezing. It is not just a yellow version of a Red Delicious!
  • Red Delicious: This is a sweet, juicy apple with a hint of tartness. It has a deep red flesh that is excellent for eating and salads.
